What type of items do we accept?
Women's on-trend, contemporary and designer clothing, footwear, and accessories. We will accept new (tags on) and good condition items.
What are the intake dates for each season?
Please take note of the time of year you are booking with us:
Fall/Winter Intake Aug 15-January 15
Spring intake February 1-April 30
Summer intake May 1-July 30
When can I bring items to your store?
Please call us at Twice As Nice (250-598-2049) or fill out our Booking Request Form to arrange an appointment.
How do I prepare my items for consignment?
All items MUST be laundered and pressed or dry cleaned and on HANGERS, ready to display. A member of the staff will view your items while you wait. Your Hangers and any clothing that is not suitable will be returned to you the same day. You are welcome to browse the store while we review your items.
What are the consignment terms?
All items are consigned for 6-8 weeks depending on the items and season at Twice As Nice Consignment.
How will my items be priced?
We set all of the prices based on our knowledge of retail value, quality of construction, brand, condidtion, and style. We apprciate any information you may have about your items, and we strive to get the most we can for you.
What percentage do I earn on consigned items?
You earn 40% of the selling price after an item sells. You will be paid out for sold items at the end of the contract. Call ahead, and we will have your payment ready for you. If you have chosen to retrieve unsold items you can get them at the same time as you pick up payment for your sold items.
What happens to my items that are unable to sell?
By your choosing, your items can either be picked up by you at end of your contract or they will be offered to a local charity. Please call ahead to arrange payout and/or return of unsold goods. Twice As Nice Consignment reserves the right to donate your items to a local charity if they are not picked up at the end of your contract.
All returns are completed at the end of the contract for 6-8 weeks depending on the season. All items may be placed on sale at the discretion of the shop owner. Our goal is to work for you and sell your pieces and although we price our clothing and accessories to sell we often have blitz sales to move inventory more efficiently. Once your items have been packaged up you will get an email or call from one of the staff and all bags must be picked up within the two week window unless private arrangements have been made. Please note that our backrooms are tiny and we do not have space to hold bags for longer than that. We will have your payout of sold items ready for pick up with your bag of unsold items.
When should I come to collect?
At the end of your consignment period you will be contacted by email and given a time to come in and collect. If you are going to be out of town, we would really appreciate it if you could make arrangements for someone to come in on your behalf. If we haven’t heard from you within two weeks of us emailing you, your items will be donated. Any monies not collected within 6 months will be null and void. If large orders are returned a fee of $5.00 will be deducted from your account for a large reusable bag to collect your items in.

Helpful Hints: Keep an eye on the trends and classics when going through your closet. If it’s been sitting in your closet for years and isn’t one of those “classic” pieces that doesn’t go out of style then there’s a good chance that we won’t take it. A good number to work with for your first time is 15 of your best items.
